Porter Wilson

Porter Wilson joins the Cabot House Furniture & Design South Portland showroom with a BA in Textiles Marketing and Design and a minor in Public Relations and Business from the University of Rhode Island. Her experiences include working for Anne Becker Design and Flowers on Chesnut on Nantucket. Porter is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, Kaledo Style, InDesign, and AutoCAD. She understands the design process from start to finish: from meeting clients for intake interviews to budgeting, ordering, and overseeing delivery and furniture placement. Porter has created floor plans for residential and commercial spaces and has in depth knowledge of textiles from flooring to wall treatment. Her training includes creating layouts that make small spaces appear larger and large spaces feel warm and intimate. Porter is excited to meet new clients and showcase her design skill and creative abilities!
