With over 25 years of experience in international design and project management, Kam Helou joins Cabot House Furniture & Design Weymouth as showroom manager. Born with a flair for design, Kam followed his passion and earned his BA in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from Notre Dame University in Beirut, Lebanon. His diploma project, renovating the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism, was awarded 2nd place at Forum of Beirut IDEX, 1999. He has several international certificates in restoration and conservation of mural paintings (Paris), Feng Shui Research (Dubai), as well as certifications in Occupational Safety OSHA and Health Management, USA. Kam has also been a professor at Architecture, Arts, & Design in Beirut.
Kam traveled to Dubai to explore the budding luxury market where he designed spaces for sophisticated clients. He is multilingual and his work experience is internationally broad with project work in Europe, the Persian Gulf, Middle East, and more recently the United States.
